[Blind Test] N8 Vs 808 PureView pictures shots (Part 1)

Posted on 21:12 by SlipKoRnSaad

In the last minute, i decided to make this as a blind test to try to get an objectif feedback about the rendering of both camera devices...for some shots, i did put an iPhone 4s shot as reference.

I didn't take a time to do a proper head to head or blind test, so wait until i come across some nice subject to shot, subjects you'll see here were captured with "normal day to day" use in mind :

A followed by B, try to tell me in the comments section which one do you prefer A or B and please try to not look at the details on flick, let's play the game :) ;)

EDIT : Results --> A is the N8 and B is the 808 PureView on twitter i've got mixed votes by 70% that A is the best 10% that can't decide between A and B and 20% that B is the best ! Surprised? Not me because while the 808 PureView has enhanced color rendering it's less warmer than the N8 and you may say it presents the real natural color, sorry but in all my examples on this test, the N8 was closer to the real colors rendering but the sky color for example was more accurate on the 808.

But The real issue is with the pink hue with picture powered by the xenon flash -that i tweeted about a lot and still waiting for a Damian's feedback- that is really confusing me and make me wonder why i did get this 808 in the first place if even my old N82 (not even N8) can make a better output !?

And here's the iPhone 4S sample as a reference :
