gStorage : Use Gmail as a network !

gStorage is a file management tool, which can be used to manager your local files in a mobile phone and network files in a remote storage space. Currently, it supports those files(attachments) in your Gmail box. As we all know, the storage capacity of one free Gmail box is considerably large, up to 7Gb for the moment, and can be upgraded to 400Gb.

So, with this tool, you will get a large enough disk for your phone right now. It easily converts your Gmail box to a local mapped drive and you can exchange data with your Gmail box. Another way to extend the capacity for your phone is applying for another free Gmail box, but this requires you maintaining additional accounts.

At a default installation, this software is a freeware with a little limitation -- the total size of files to be sent or downloaded should be not more than 500Kb. If you like this tool and support its continuous development, please consider requesting a license which can remove that limit by just paying a one time fee for your phone(IMEI is required, press "*#06#" to get it in your phone). When using network file management functions in this software, it may cause network fees via some kinds of bearers, determined by your local network service provider. You should be aware of this in advance.

Nokia Custom Dictionary : Managing your S60 custom dictionary !

Nokia Custom Dictionary is designed to offer an easy way to manage the custom dictionary on your smartphone.

The custom dictionary is used for storing your personal words that are used frequently while typing. These words are then used in predictive text input.




With this application, you can:

- View all the words in your custom dictionary
- Add new words to it
- Edit and Delete existing words
- Export the dictionary as xml file
- Import words from an xml file
- Scan text files to import all the words
- Transfer your dictionary to another phone

Compatibility and system requirements

Nokia Custom Dictionary can be installed on S60 3rd and 5th Edition devices.

The application is fully functional on Nokia E71, Nokia E63, Nokia 5800 XPressMusic, and Nokia X6.

There might be some minor issues on Nokia N97, Nokia N97 mini, Nokia E72, Nokia E75, Nokia E55, and Nokia E52.  Check the FAQ under More Info.

[Maemo 5 / N900 Apps] ActionManager : select an action to a (system) trigger !

The ActionManager lets a user select an action to a (system) trigger. Eg.: A trigger like headphone plugin/pullout or battery fully charged to an action like MediaPlayer Pause/Play, selecting a (system) profile.

Imagine, by using the GPS, a trigger can be defined when your (N900) is near a specific GPS location. An action to respond on the trigger can be playin a sound : I'm using the train to go back home, but I'm very sleepy. When I fall a sleep by accident, I want to wake up just before I arrive on my destination. The wakeup signal can be playing a sound, or other... ! Something like that (not implemented yet, just an example)

Currently it does pause the mediaplayer when disconnecting the headphone and start playing again when connected like (in one way) headphoned somehow.
